Histotechnologist II | Ameripath | Kansas City, MO AmeriPath, Inc. is the nation's largest physician and laboratory company focused on providing anatomic pathology, cancer diagnostic and healthcare information services to physicians, hospitals, national clinical laboratories and managed care organizations. The company presently operates in 24 states and provides medical services through outpatient pathology laboratories, hospital inpatient laboratories and outpatient surgery centers. Our Kansas City practice has an immediate opportunity available for a Histotechnologist II to join our Histology team.  The qualified candidate will accurately performs a variety of routine and specialized histology techniques and procedures. Differentiate tissues for appropriate embedding, cutting and staining; Troubleshooting; Ability to cooperate and work with others; Make technical decisions; Communicate effectively; Demonstrate an interest in professional development; and Ability to define and resolve problems. Qualifications: A.A., A.S. or B.S. degree or equivalent training and experience; HT/HTL (ASCP); Three - six years histology experience; and Previous immunohistochemistry experience preferred.
